And so it begins! With no less than 85kg of luggage, left New Zealand on Friday 1st November to arrive into chaos at Los Angeles airport with a shooting and cancelled flights. Non-scheduled overnight in LA before heading on to Denver. From the airport we drove straight to the mountain to get a little ski in before dinner time. We have begun training at the Front Range and will do a few more days here before heading to Silverthorne to train at Loveland and Copper Mountain. Super warm but the snow is looking decent and it’s great to be catching up with some team mates.
Big shout out to the Skimasters NZ – thank you for your support and contribution with the NZ Masters Scholarship.
Also a huge thanks to the Adastra Foundation for supporting me with an athletes scholarship.
